Welcome to "Ahoy Matey" where you will find a tropical sanctuary with a private pool and just one short block to the beautiful white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island. This newly remodeled villa has 2 bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms and an fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. The high ceilings and open floor plan add to the ambiance of this charming villa. The sliding glass doors from the living room lead directly to the private tropically landscaped pool area. Enjoy outdoor dining on the pool deck or simply lounging in the sun. Beach gear is provided and a barbecue grill. Direct beach access a short stroll away at the end of 79th St where you will find the most beautiful white sand beaches. There is a private driveway for parking-- 2 vehicles max. We look forward to welcoming you!!

There will be days when the weather conditions will not allow pool heaters to accommodate swimming and temperature recovery times will vary. "We got to the house and were missing 2 beach chairs (listing said 6 person house so 6 chairs). I put in a call around 10 or 11 am. We had 2 more chairs hand delivered by 1pm! The house was in great condition, pool was kept clean and full throughout the week, and being 6 houses from the beach was perfect with 3 younger kids.

"Clean, newly updated furniture/appliances! Even though we didn’t cook much, there appeared to be all necessities there. Exactly five minutes from start of walk to sitting down on beach! Pool is nice! I wouldn’t book for more than 6 people. My advice is just do it, AMI never disappoints! - As reviewed on VRBO

"“After growing up coming to Anna Maria, I decided to return and share its magic with my family of 5. This was my first experience having to find a book a location and I couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice of Ahoy Matey. Location: We loved the location - a quick walk to the private beach, a trolley stop right outside, and the best selection the island offers just a few minutes away. House: The home was super clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Despite being a duplex, it was an entirely private residence (nothing shared) and supremely comfortable. Pool: the backyard, private pool felt like we were living in a tropical oasis. The landscaping was so beautiful. And while not a large pool, it was perfect for our family. Also, the water feature provided such relaxing sounds for the quieter moments of the trip. Tips: there were many beach items being available, including a wagon, some toys, and chairs. "“Small terraced house with another with all the comforts for two very nice weeks of vacation in a paradisiacal place. This house is ideal for 4 people , because otherwise you will be forced to sleep on the sofa bed ( for children it can go because a sofa bed is never very comfortable). The beach is beautiful and within easy walking distance. The place is magical which explains the high prices of rentals. Apart from the sofa bed , the bedding is decent and we sleep pretty well because the environment is quiet. The furniture is a little old but there is nothing lacking. There's a BBQ we used only once but it was a very nice time. The pool is small but really a plus to enjoy a refreshing bath at any time. So we had a really nice holiday in John's house which systematically responded to our requests and was very nice. I recommend this place.” ~As reviewed on AirBnB
