This Island home is a Charming, mix of modern + vintage with many updates and 8 houses from the gorgeous Gulf Beaches!! This 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home is the perfect location in the City of Anna Maria and only 3 blocks away from Pine Avenue with boutiques and restaurants.
As soon as you walk through the front gates, you are greeted by an outdoor lounge area with a fabulous outdoor entertainment area with putting green, shuffleboard court, corn hole and outdoor lights. Just beyond is a beautiful pool and spa with a water feature . It is very secluded and private, its like your own little retreat with lush landscaping completely surrounding.
The interior details of this home is something like you have never seen, classic vintage pieces mixed with modern touches and gorgeous chandeliers throughout the home. The stairs have stunning blue tiles and steps, the little details are around every corner and pops of color throughout. There is new flooring throughout, ideal for beach living. The kitchen is light and bright with open shelving, large farm sink, new quartz countertops, and backsplash wall.
More upgrades include 3 new bathrooms with new showers and countertops, dusk to dawn copper landscape lighting. You will love the natural light that comes through to the open concept living area where there is plenty of space for entertainment. Enjoy the gulf breeze on your front balcony that is directly off the living and dining room. There is another private small balcony off the primary bedroom on the top floor.
There is plenty of room for the family with 2 primary bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed. The 3rd bedroom has a King bed and the 4th bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds. The dining area has seating for 8.
This home has plenty of outdoor fun for the family including a basketball hoop! You will love the convenience of the outside shower and changing room just off the pool area with a mini fridge and stools.

There will be days when the weather conditions will not allow pool heaters to accommodate use and temperature recovery times will vary.
Per the City Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are to be observed between the hours of 10 pm to 8 am daily. This includes noise at the pool area. Please be especially mindful of loud music and loud voices when in and around pools or outdoor areas. Please refer to the rental agreement for further details and possible citations.

"We loved this rental. The pool and proximity to the beach was top notch. We brought our 3 young boys for a last minute stay in AMI and this house had everything we needed. We would gladly come back and stay, absolutely perfect for small families and children.

"This house was fantastic! We traveled with another family and it was perfect for little kids. We felt very safe with the door security getting out to the pool, and the kids swam in the pool/hot tub[spa] multiple times a day every day. The house was very comfortable and well equipped, and in an amazing location. The Fran Maxon team was amazing too, very responsive and helpful. We hope to come back someday!

"Vacationing on Anna Maria Island is one thing, but doing so at Palmetto Oasis is something totally different, it’s simply, perfect!
First, the house. The space is welcoming, warm, and feels like home the minute you walk in. All amenities are top notch, and you’ll immediately notice the care to detail. The bedrooms are spacious, and allowed plenty of escape for us adults, and privacy for the kids. The large open kitchen and dining area are wonderful, but our favorite was enjoying a happy hour drink and meal on the balcony. This is also where we spent a nearly every morning, reading a book and enjoying coffee while the kids shell hunted just a few hundred feet away — a perk being so close to beach access!
Stepping into the backyard is an experience all its own. If, or when, the beach is too much, the privacy and pure escape the pool, hot tub, lounge, and game area provide will surely have something for everyone (sun and shade, as well). The kids loved the colored pool lights at night, and we found every reason to enjoy the jacuzzi before turning in for the night.
As for location, it’s doesn’t get much better. We’ve been to AMI a handful of times now, and this place has been our favorite, hands down. It’s a step away from the main drag, but still quiet and secluded. A golf cart rental is our preferred option for transportation, which makes even the simplest of errands a memory building adventure. A fun 8-10 minute ride and you’ll find yourself scarfing down your 5th Skinny’s Burger of the week, and the other attractions (restaurants, ice cream, shopping, etc.) are even closer than that.
We truly can’t say enough great things about this place—it was easy, hassle free, and the memories we made not only will last a lifetime, but have been revisited and talked about countless times since. We will be back, so good luck booking before we do :-)

Four girlfriends, who are also moms to 2-3 kids each.
Holiday chaos is complete and we’re on the downslide.
It’s also winter in Michigan.
Where to go? What to do? Head to Florida, obviously.
Cats Paw (which was not cat-themed like you’d expect) was an absolute delight and respite. It’s an easy walk to a breakfast place with amazing giant cinnamon rolls, the beach, and local shops. Slim’s bar/restaurant is next door, but noise was never an issue (and we do recommend going there, food was A+). The house was extremely clean and so cozy, with plenty of space in the kitchen area and bedrooms. Bathrooms were lovely (except the octopus themed one because *shudder*). I didn’t plan this trip, but I was so pleasantly surprised by everything this home offered. I stepped through the door and felt “home.” Also a perk is the hot tub and pool right in the backyard.
Would I rent again? I left asking WHEN. 10/10 would recommend.

"We recently stayed at The Cat’s Paw on Anna Maria Island, and it was hands down the best family vacation we've ever had! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless.
The property itself was pristine, meticulously clean, and clearly well-maintained. It felt like a home away from home, but with all the luxury and extra touches that made our stay special.
One of the best things about The Cat’s Paw is the variety of unique amenities that you don’t typically find in most rentals around the island. The shuffleboard, putt-putt course, and basketball hoop kept our kids (and even the adults!) entertained for hours. It was like having our own little private resort right in the backyard. It really set this place apart from other rentals on the island.
The swimming pool was another highlight. We spent countless hours in the pool, and it never got old. It’s large, well-kept, and just the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip or a fun splash session with the kids. Honestly, I think we could have spent the whole vacation just enjoying the pool and the amazing amenities!
The location couldn’t have been better either. Not only were we next door to a restaurant (which made grabbing a bite to eat incredibly easy), but we were also just a short walk from the beach. With young kids, making multiple trips to the beach each day was so manageable. We could easily pop back and forth, whether we wanted to grab a snack, change into dry clothes, or take a quick break from the sun. The proximity to the beach was a total game-changer for us!
Inside, the beds were so comfortable that we all slept like rocks after our long days of fun. The bedding was soft, and the rooms were spacious, giving everyone their own private retreat. The balconies were exceptional as well—perfect spots to sip coffee in the morning or enjoy the sunset in the evening.
In short, The Cat’s Paw is a gem. It offered the perfect blend of fun, relaxation, and convenience. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our family vacation, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to create lasting memories in a stunning and family-friendly environment. We will absolutely be back!

"We loved our stay at this Anna Maria Island gem! The location couldn’t be better—just a short stroll to the beach, cute shops, and great restaurants, yet it still feels tucked away and peaceful. The home itself is beautifully done with an upscale feel and activities for kids, while still being cozy and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, which made for restful nights after full days of exploring. The highlight, though, was the brand-new pool—sparkling, inviting, and the perfect place to unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better balance of convenience, luxury, and relaxation. Can’t wait to come back!
